The ZERO 10 is a very comfortable ride with it’s large deck and 10 inch pneumatic tires. It is the fastest single motor scooter that I have ever ridden hitting speeds of 30 mph on flat pavement and on a full charge. The LEDs up the stem and on the undercarriage help to make you visible when night riding. With the ability to lock into itself when folded, adjustable stem, and foldable handlebars it makes the ZERO 10 extremely portable. It allows you to condense the scooter into a smaller footprint so it makes it easier for transporting into vehicles or on public transportation.

Top 5 drawbacks

1. Tubed tires gets more flats compared to tubeless.
2. Needs a brighter front facing light
3. No keyed security
4. Rear shocks could bottom out easy with heavier riders
5. Not made for off-roading

Pneumatic tires are very comfortable compared to solid tires. However, tube in pneumatic tires are more prone to flats. Fixing a flat tire on a scooter can be extremely tedious if you are not handy. The lights on the ZERO 10 look really cool and help with visibility. However, the front facing lights do not project light very far. If its a dark night, it will be very hard to see past 10 feet in front of you. You can technically ride this scooter off-road but it’s really not designed for it. The shocks will bottom out easily and it’s not going to be very comfortable. This scooter can hold up to 265 lbs but the rear shocks will most likely bottom out if you’re not riding smooth pavement.

Who Is The ZERO 10 Perfect For?

To me the ZERO 10 scooter is perfect for the person who is mainly using it for city commuting. It compacts nicely so you can use with public transportation, but it has enough range that you could use it for single mode commuting as well. It’s a great scooter for those who don’t want to exceed 30 mph. With the wide deck, adjustable stem, 10 inch pneumatic tires, and soft suspension it makes the ZERO 10 a very comfortable on long commutes. I enjoyed riding this long distances on smooth pavement. The acceleration was great and it was very nimble. The large deck felt very safe to ride on and it had great braking power. I never felt the scooter was unstable at high speeds or felt wobbly. The geometry of the scooter is very nice and overall It is a very well rounded scooter.

Who Is The ZERO 10 Not For?

The ZERO 10 is not designed for someone who wants to use it primarily for off-roading use. It will work fine on gravel paths but I would not want to take the ZERO 10 down mountain bike trails. The suspension is simply not designed for off-roading like the ZERO 10X. If you weigh 265 lbs and want to hit speeds of 30 mph, I doubt you will achieve that on the ZERO 10. You may want to bump it up to a dual motor scooter if you want to exceed speeds of 25 mph. It’s the fastest single motor scooter I’ve ridden but can only hit 30 mph and I weigh 180 lbs.
