Look Like A Pro With These Easy Beginner Onewheel Tricks

Inspired by Onewheel legends Jeff McCosker, Slydog Stroh, and Chris Richardson, I share tips on mastering the jump mount and 180 tricks. The jump mount, made popular by Slydogstroh, is surprisingly easy to learn. My guide breaks down body movements for the 180, helping you build skill and confidence, just like Chris Richardson’s tutorials.

If there were a Mount Rushmore of Onewheel tricks influences on my life, the faces on that mountain would be Jeff McCosker, Slydog Stroh, and Chris Richardson. The Great Chris Richardson tutorial taught me how to do a comfortable 180. If you have not seen Chris’s video, go check him out.

In this video I go over how to do a jump mount which was made popular by Slydogstroh. The jump mount looks difficult, but it is actually very easy to perform with very little risk of injury.

I also go over how I do a 180 using a few simple steps. The 180 is a very practical skill to have. Follow the tips in the video to understand the general body movements needed. Then go for little turns at a time. With practice, you'll eventually get to the 180!

I hope you find these tips helpful.
