The Evercross HB24 escooter is a feature rich electric scooter at a budget friendly price. Jimmy and I have bought a lot of things off Amazon but, we have never considered a scooter from Amazon, until now.
With so many features at such a low price, is the Evercross HB24 electric scooter worth it? In this review, we will tell you what we liked and hated about the Evercross HB24.

What we like about the Evercross HB24 Electric Scooter

The Evercross HB24 has a ton of great features that we don’t even see on $3000 scooters. We don’t see keyed entry on a $3000 Kaabo Wolf King or $1600 Zero 10X. We have never seen undercarriage LED lights on a scooter under $1000.
The Evercross HB24 looks eerily similar to an EMOVE Cruiser. It has a similar shape deck, turn signals, keyed entry, square handlebar, adjustable stem, dual suspension, and 10 inch tubeless pneumatic tires. However, the Evercross HB24 electric scooter is not as refined as the EMOVE Cruiser.
What we hated about the Evercross HB24 Electric Scooter
- Steering is wonky
- Front suspension easily bottoms out
- Square handlebar
- Front light is not bright enough for safe night riding
- Electric horn
- Strong chemical smell
The most glaring issue with the Evercross HB24 electric scooter is the steering is wonky. When I say wonky, it is unstable turning at speeds higher than 5 mph.
While we are not certain for the cause of this unstable sensation, we believe it has to do with the steering column.
I believe the stem, or steering column, design creates the loosey goosey feeling I experience when riding the Evercross HB24 electric scooter.
If you shift your body weight while turning, the scooter feels wonderful. However, if you try to turn when moving at higher speeds, you feel a fair amount of stem wobble.
The instability while steering at speed is our biggest gripe with this loaded budget escooter and if they could fix that issue, I could live with the other nominal issues I noticed.
Who is the Evercross HB24 electric scooter for?
This electric scooter is perfect for the person who wants high end features at a budget friendly price.
As long as you understand there may be steering issues, and as long as you don’t need a super nimble scooter, by learning to use your weight and leaning into turns, this scooter surprisingly rides really smooth.
The Evercross HB24 is a great scooter to ride from point A to point B. At the price point, the Evercross has decent speed. You’re not going to take the Evercross HB24 off-roading, but you’ll get a feature packed scooter at an excellent price.
