The Onewheel GT is a self balancing electric board designed for both paved surfaces and off road riding. It has a top speed of up to 20 mph and an estimated range of 20-32 miles per charge. The board features a higher voltage control system for increased power and torque, concave front and rear footpads with aggressive grip tape for improved rider control, a custom tire profile with slick and treaded factory options, brighter LED lights with high beam functionality, and an aluminum Maghandle Pro carry handle. It also connects to the Onewheel app, allowing riders to view battery status, adjust ride settings, and access additional board features.
The Freshly Charged Take
Jimmy took the Onewheel GT for a rented spin around Oahu, and the verdict is clear: more torque, more range, and hill climbing that no longer needs babying. The nose handle, brighter app controlled lights, and an optional treaded tire finally check off years of wishlist items. It's not a clean sweep though, a warning beep too quiet to hear and reports of DOA units and ghosting keep it from perfect, but for anyone cruising under 20 mph, it's a real step up from the XR.
