I’m Ethan and I like to ride Onewheels with my Dad. I recently had my worst fall ever and it was from the Onewheel. It was a hot summer day so I was tempted to wear as little safety gear as my dad would let me. Fortunately, I had these fingerless gloves on when I fell from the Onewheel onto the asphalt. While my right hand and palm took the initial impact of the fall, my hand, palms, and wrists came away unharmed. Not even a scratch. I wish the same could have been said about my right elbow which was the next body part to hit the ground. My elbow was shredded up after the fall. I needed 5 stitches to close a deep wound there. If you want to see a video of the fall, it’s at the end of this article. These fingerless gloves are great. Here are my Pros and Cons:
- Pros:
- Very Durable and High Quality
- They look great which is a big reason why I wear these instead of the big dorky wrist guards that we have
- Amazing palm protection
- Great for warm and hot weather
- I can use my fingers to work my phone
- Cons:
- Lack of wrist protection
- Not so good for cold weather riding
