In what seems like an arms race to the fastest and the most furious, Razor is happy to scoot along in the opposite direction and focus on affordability and its footprint in the crowded scooter market.
Razor is synonymous with scooters. Seven years ago Santa brought our kids each a Razor scooter and now the company is introducing new models: the EcoSmart SUP, E300 HD, and the C25, each with a top speed of 15.5 mph and priced to compete.
Here’s a quick look at some of the affordable new Razor scooters coming soon:

There’s no doubt that electric scooters are hot. People are searching for a socially distanced way to recreate and commute and not everyone needs a high performance electric scooter that goes off road with speeds over 40 mph.
Our family loves electric rideable devices. We own Onewheels, electric unicycles, electric skateboards, and even an electric scooter. Despite our being experienced riders of personal electric vehicles, Razor has done something compelling. You can’t ignore those big wheels on the EcoSmart SUP and the price is hard to beat.
I think a majority of people looking to own their first electric scooter will find these affordable offerings from Razor very compelling. They are affordable and they have the name recognition that the general public will scoot along with, especially given how saturated the scooter market is.
