The Veteran Patton-S is an upgraded version of the original Patton, incorporating key features from Leaperkim’s latest releases. Similar to the Sherman L, it now is hall-sensor-less for safer riding, includes a Smart BMS for monitoring battery health, and features progressive coil shock suspension. All this with a nearly 10lb weight reduction (from the original Patton) enhances handling and portability.

While these aren't available currently on Alienrides, they are taking pre-orders for their next shipment, which should be arriving in February 2025.

Things We Love

Suspension/Tire Options: The Veteran Patton S comes with the option of a 62lb, 66lb or 70lb shock, and the choice between a Chaoyang street tire or knobby off-road tire.

Weight Reduction: Leaperkim managed to shave off 8 lbs from the OG Patton, while increasing the available riding and safety features.

Room For Improvement

Battery: The main improvement we would like to see on future iterations of the Patton is the battery size: 2200Wh just isn't enough for high-speed commuting, and there are plenty of 80lb wheels that manage to pack in more Wh, for example the Begode Blitz, Begode Master, or Begode EX.N.

Overall, this seems like a solid choice for a futuristic, mid-to-high speed wheel. Veteran as a company has been making EUCs since 2020, and their quality is tried and tested.
