The Inmotion E20 is the most accessible EUC yet. Riding EUCs and Onewheels is an incredible experience, and especially riding with friends and family. However, sometimes an EUC is not exactly the most accessible mode of transportation, and for people who aren’t familiar with riding skateboards or other balancing devices, it can be daunting to get on an EUC. Jimmy’s wife had never set foot on an EUC until the Inmotion E20.
There is no better beginner wheel than the Inmotion E20. It is a true game-changer, and is a great intro wheel before your friends try larger and faster EUCs.

Things We Loved
Two Wheels: The main selling point of the Inmotion E20 is its unique two-wheeled design (or is it one wheel, two tires?), which helps with balance. Mounting and dismounting an EUC is typically the hardest part, but with the E20 it is a breeze to just step on and off without worrying about the side-to-side balance. Also, you don’t necessarily need to dismount when you come to a stoplight; you can just stand still, and the E20 will balance you in place.
Customizable RGB Lights: These lights can be programmed in the app to flash different colors depending on speed. The taillight also acts as a brake light, which flashes until you come to a complete stop. The front light could be brighter, however, and we don’t recommend riding at night.
The App: Inmotion is known for their robust and feature-filled apps, and the Inmotion E20-compatible app is no exception. You can adjust the wheel calibration, lighting, horn sound, speaker volume, and much more. The Inmotion app works with iPhone and Android, and has a nice interface.
Things We Hated
Front Light: The front light isn’t bright at all, and you can’t adjust the angle.
Rubber Lining: The pedals have a rubber lining around the edges, and the adhesive is very poor quality. Dalton kept needing to push the adhesive back in so that the rubber would stick to the pedals.
Low Torque: The Inmotion E20 has a hard time making it up even small ramps or curbs.
No Kickstand: It would be nice to have a kickstand on the back of the E20. Currently, your only choice is to rest the wheel on the shell, which can lead to scuffs and scrapes pretty easily. A kickstand would also add stability when the wheel is resting on the ground.
Valve Stem Angle: The valve stem used for inflating the tire points straight up, which makes it almost impossible to pump up the wheel using a regular bike pump.
The Freshly Charged Take
We don’t know the final price of this wheel yet, but if it is priced at under $1000 we’d definitely recommend it for anyone to add to their EUC arsenal for the purpose of teaching friends and family how to ride! Andrew also recommends this wheel if you want to learn how to ride backwards.
