The Aventon Ramblas ADV is a hardtail electric mountain bike designed for all terrain performance with a 6061 single butted aluminum alloy frame. Central to its operation is the a100 mid drive motor, delivering 250W of sustained power and a peak output of 750W with 100Nm of torque for steep climbs. Based on the large size configuration, this eBike features 29 inch tubeless compatible wheels wrapped in Maxxis Rekon tires and a RockShox Psylo Silver R fork with 130mm of travel. The electrical system includes a 708Wh battery using LG 21700 cells that supports a maximum range of up to 80 miles under specific riding conditions. Mechanical performance is managed by a SRAM NX Eagle 1x12 speed drivetrain and four piston SRAM DB8 mineral oil hydraulic disc brakes with a 200mm front rotor and a 180mm rear rotor. Additional utility features for the large frame include a 150mm travel dropper seatpost and a 760mm wide handlebar to ensure control during technical off road maneuvers.

The Freshly Charged Take

The BEST eMTB Under $3,000?! This One Blew Us Away…

The Aventon Ramblas ADV packs RockShox suspension, a full SRAM drivetrain, Maxxis tires, and a near-silent 750W (peak) 100Nm mid-drive motor into a hardtail eMTB, and the trail performance backs up the spec sheet. It is a pedal-assist-only bike with no throttle option, no integrated security tracking, and tires that ship with tubes despite being tubeless-ready, but none of those criticisms change the core conclusion: for a first-time eMTB buyer or a weekend trail rider who also wants a capable commuter, this is a high quality bike at a reasonable price.
