Dualtron Victor Limited Review (2025) – Speed, Acceleration Tests & Buying Guide

The Dualtron Victor Limited addresses past issues with improved stem strength, a water resistance rating, and fast charging. It boasts a powerful 50mph top speed, 65-mile range, tubeless tires, and an appealing design. Written Review

We've reviewed a lot of Dualtron scooters in the past, and while we've loved the power and aesthetics, they have had some specific issues (stem flex, no waterproof rating, no fast charger) that have finally been fixed! It's safe to say that this is our favorite Dualtron so far. Keep reading for our full review.

Dualtron Victor Limited - Things We Love

EY4 Display: We love the updated display. The Dualtron Victor Limited now features the same EY4 display as the Dualtron X Limited, another one of our favorite scooters. It's nice and crisp, has a bluetooth app for adjusting scooter settings from your phone, including remotely locking/unlocking the scooter.

Horn: The Victor Limited also now shares a horn with the X Limited, and it's one of the loudest we've ever tested. A motorcycle grade horn is a plus when you have a scooter that can pass cars on the road.

Tires: The tires have been upgraded to tubeless and puncture-resistant, with a hybrid tread.

Battery + Chargers: The battery has been increased from 30Ah to 35Ah, which gives it a total battery size of 2100Wh, using high quality Samsung battery cells. The scooter also ships with both the standard 1.75A charger, and a high speed 6.5A charger that together can charge the battery in 4-5 hours.

Aesthetics: Overall, this scooter looks great. It stands out in a lineup of scooters, and the fit and finish is very well done.

Water Rating: Finally Dualtron is including a water rating - the Dualtron Victor Limited has an IPX5 rating. While it's not IPX6, like many other scooters, or IP66, like Apollo scooters, this is a huge step from their previous scooters which had absolutely no water rating.

Headlight: The front light is plenty bright enough for high speed night riding, which is as much as we could ask for from a premium high-powered scooter.

Underglow Lights: We like all of the lights on the scooter, but the underglow lights especially add a nice effect. The taillights are also nicely accentuated and don't just look like regular taillights.

Speed Test

Andrew clocked 46 mph in his speed run, including the following acceleration times:

  • 0-10mph: 2.7s
  • 0-20mph: 4.9s
  • 0-30mph: 8.9s
  • 0-40mph: 16.4s

Slight disclaimer - we did these runs on 83% charge, in 35°F weather conditions. We are confident this scooter could go faster with 100% battery charge and on a warmer day.

Dualtron Victor Limited - Room for Improvement

Packaging: We weren't super impressed by the packaging job; when the scooter arrived the styrofoam was ripped up in a lot of places, and the front brake on the scooter was actually slightly damaged.

Safe Mode: Like the Segway high-end scooters, the Dualtron Victor Limited automatically goes into "safe mode" after it has been sitting idle for some time, which means you need to tap the brakes before the throttle will work again. This is the only setting that you are unable to adjust or remove in the app, which is frustrating. There is also a 2-second delay between tapping the brakes and the throttle engaging.

Suspension: Because the suspension is rubber cartridges instead of hydraulics or springs, the suspension actually gets more stiff in cold weather. For an already stiff-suspension scooter, this can make riding in cold weather somewhat uncomfortable.

Kickplate: We are not a fan of the kickplate angle, it feels too high for comfortable riding or accelerating. The kickplate also has a latch right in the middle, which reduces the number of different places you can arrange your foot.

Light/Horn Placement: Currently the horn is way up high next to the handlebars, and the headlight is located down by the locking mechanism. We wish this were reversed - a higher mounted headlight that throws light more directly into your field of vision would make visibility even better.

The Freshly Charged Take

If you love the Dualtron brand, and you want the highest powered scooter that is still somewhat portable, with all the newest and latest upgrades, the Dualtron Victor Limited is it.
