Things We Love
Adjustable Steering Pole: The previous iterations of the Emove Cruiser also featured an adjustable steering pole, but the way the bolts were attached caused it frequently to become loose, and rattle around. This design has been updated on the Emove Cruiser V2, and the handlebars also go much higher than the previous Cruiser, making this a suitable scooter for riders of virtually any height. The steering pole is also thicker overall, and there is no stem wobble or flex.

Upgraded Suspension: On the previous Cruiser, it was super easy to bottom out the suspension. The V2 has much firmer suspension, allowing Andrew to go over bumps and cracks without worrying about bottoming out. According to Andrew, the upgraded suspension is “10 times better” than the previous suspension.

Color Display: On the previous Cruiser, the display was attached to the trigger throttle, and was super small and didn’t offer that much information. The new display is much larger, centrally mounted, full color, and displays many more specs and settings about the scooter.

Internal Cable Management: The Emove Cruiser is clean and organized, even under the deck. Most scooters have 30-40 wires all mangled and jumbled underneath the deck, but Voro Motors has reduced the Emove Cruiser V2 to less than 10 individual wires, all neatly organized.

Split Rim: On the previous Cruiser, Voro Motors actually recommended that you purchase a new motor, wheel and tire when you get a permanent flat, rather than going through the hassle of changing the tire. On the V2, the split rim design (which is rare for tubeless tires) allows you to change the tire in less than 10 minutes. The tire featured on the V2 is also a hybrid tire, which means it handles well off-road but still feels smooth on the streets.

Charging Port: The charging port is now located on top of the deck, instead of underneath. The previous charging port would get scuffed or scraped if you went over curbs or dropped the scooter, but the new port is in a place where it is unlikely to get damaged.

Things We Hate
Weight: The V2 weighs 74 lbs, which is significantly more than the 52 lbs of the previous version. 70 lbs is typically the cutoff for being easy to load into the back of a car with one person, so the added weight on the new Cruiser definitely pushes that over the limit.
Acceleration: While the Emove Cruiser V2 has an adequate top speed (33 mph+), the initial acceleration is lackluster, even in comparison to most single-motor scooters. We would appreciate a little bit more bottom-end torque.
Front Light: Even though the front light has been upgraded, it still isn’t quite bright enough for safe night riding.

Thumb Throttle: We like the addition of the thumb throttle vs a trigger throttle, but the specific ergonomics of this thumb throttle design aren’t super great, and on long rides this will start to hurt your hands.

The Freshly Charged Take
The Emove Cruiser is, and always has been, the do-it-all, one-size-fits-all scooter, perfect for kids and adults of all ages and heights. It even is a great option for adrenaline junkies, as the scooter is design to fit a 1000W motor in the front hub in addition to the rear.
