GOTRAX F1 V2 - Things We Love
Accessories: We're surprised to see a bike at the <$700 price point come with freebies such as a seat bag, lock, tire-changing tool, phone holder, bell, and a bike mirror. We've reviewed bikes almost 10x this price that don't even come with all those add-ons (looking at you, LeMond Dutch).

Color Display: We absolutely love the color display. A lot of budget e-bikes still use a grayscale display, but this display looks like it belongs in 2024!

Pedal-Assist Levels: One thing we love about the GoTrax F1 V2 is that no matter what pedal assist mode you are in, even mode 1, you can still use the throttle to go all the way up to 20 mph. This is something we have complained about on other bikes, such as the Lectric Xpress which we recently reviewed on the channel.

Adjustable Handlebars: Both seat and the handlebars have adjustable height, and the the amount of adjustment is quite large, making it possible to ride "chopper style". In reality, the bike is suitable for almost any type of riding for any size person, depending on how high you set the handlebars and seat post.

Portability: In addition to being foldable, the bike weighs just under 47 lbs, which makes it convenient to lift with one hand, load into the back of a car or on a train. The bike folds at both the neck and the center frame. Andrew was able to both fold and unfold the bike in under 10 seconds.

GOTRAX F1 V2 - Room For Improvement
Packaging: Our bike arrived with minor damage, and lots of paint chipping. This could have been avoided with better quality packaging, and being secured more inside the box to prevent jostling.
Cable Management: The main cable containing the motor wires sags down and almost rubs on the front tire. We had to adjust ours to stop this from happening, but even with the adjustment, it is still a big cable that is dangling off the front of the bike.

Seat Post Suspension: Jimmy's main request for the bike is that it came with seat post suspension, instead of the other add-ons like bike mirrors, which you wouldn't really need to use on a bike that only goes 20 mph. Puncture-resistant tires would also be a nice addition.
Light: As with most E-bikes, unfortunately, the front-facing light is not very bright and doesn't instill confidence when riding at night.
