The Begode Panther is slated to be the first wheel released by Begode in 2025, and will be replacing the Begode Master Pro as the longest range wheel in Begode’s lineup. The Master Pro has been the mainstay of long range EUCs since it came out a few years ago, so how does the upcoming Begode Panther measure up?

Begode Panther vs Competitor Offerings
As previously noted, the Begode Panther compares most similarly to the Begode Master Pro V3, the ExtremeBull GT Pro+, and the Veteran Sherman L. These wheels all came out in the past year, but the Panther surpasses each of them in different ways. The Sherman L was proven a fantastic wheel in 2024, but comes in behind the Panther in terms of battery size; 4000Wh vs 4400Wh.
The GT Pro+ matches the 4400Wh battery, but features a 20” tire compared to the 22” tire on the Panther. For some, the smaller size is preferable. However, most people will find that for the best long range cruising experience, the 22” tire size is simply more comfortable in soaking up small imperfections in the road.
The Master Pro V3 is the direct predecessor of the Panther, but at 127 pounds was the heaviest EUC available, and that translated into a clunky feel and so it wasn’t very versatile. The Begode Panther cuts that weight down a full 10 pounds, while streamlining the profile to be similar to the Begode Blitz. Additionally, the possibility to charge at 30 amps is huge for those who do long range rides with charging breaks at EV chargers, as this will effectively half their charging time.
Begode Panther – Build Quality
The build quality on the Panther takes its inspiration from the ET Max generation of Begode wheels. It looks to be mainly magnesium alloy with some engineering plastic, with LED accent lights adorning the corners. The screen has been moved back onto the top of the EUC, which was the big complaint on the Begode Blitz. The honeycomb pedal style has been replaced with the newer geometric style, as seen in the pictures. Overall, the Begode Panther recalls the design of the older Extreme Bull Commander, which was highly utile, easy to mod, and felt like an indestructible brick, so we’re happy about this design.
The Freshly Charged Take
In conclusion, the Panther is everything we could want from a Master Pro update. It’s lighter, more compact, more durable, and has an updated suspension. Begode seemingly looked at every good thing they’ve done in the past year and put it together to create the ultimate cruiser, and somehow keep the weight only 6 pounds heavier than the 3000Wh ET Max. We’re looking forward to this wheel, and expect it to re-establish Begode as the best option in long range EUCs.
