The Aventon Level 4 REC is a commuter ebike featuring a 750W hub motor and a 36V 20Ah lithium ion battery that provides a maximum range of up to 75 miles. This model utilizes a 6061 aluminum alloy frame and comes equipped with an 8 speed Shimano drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes with integrated regenerative braking technology. For operator comfort the bike includes a suspension fork and a suspension seatpost with 50mm of travel as well as an adjustable aluminum stem. Integrated smart features are supported by 4G and GPS connectivity which enable remote tracking and security functions through a mobile application. The unit is factory configured with front and rear lighting a rear rack and fenders to support daily utility needs. The criticisms are minor: no auto-canceling turn signals, composite pedals over metal, and no included bell.
