Lectric XP Lite 2.0
Read our full written review here.
The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 was recently upgraded, and is hands down the best bike you can get at $799 or lower. It has nice new features such as a color display, puncture-resistant tires, and the most powerful 300W motor we’ve ever tested.
Lectric XP Lite 2.0 – Quick Specs
- Motor: 300W (peak 819W)
- Speed: 20 mph
- Range: 45 miles / 80 miles
- Battery: 48V 7.8Ah (374.4 Wh) / 48V 14Ah (672 Wh)
- Weight: 49 lbs / 51 lbs
- Price: $799
While we do wish this bike could go faster than 20 mph, the power delivery is exceptional. It may not be the strongest hill climber, but the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 has no issues with hills and certainly gets up to top speed quickly on more modest terrain.
For just $799, you’re getting BMX-style handlebar grips, fantastic foldability for even easier carrying, and it comes in five different colors. Tons of value here if you want serious bang for your buck.

GoTrax Tundra
Read our full written review here.
The GoTrax Tundra has one of the most sensitive, best-tuned torque sensors we’ve ever tested. This torque sensor also has no issues getting the bike all the way up to the top speed of 28mph, once you switch into pedal assist level 5. It also has great coil suspension that gives it a nice cushion.
GoTrax Tundra – Quick Specs
- Motor: 750W
- Speed: 28 mph
- Range: 74 miles
- Battery: 48V 20Ah (960 Wh), UL-rated
- Weight: 78 lbs
- Price: $1,299
The GoTrax Tundra doesn’t provide the whisper-quiet acceleration we’ve become accustomed to on modern e-bikes, as it has a bit of a noisier motor. While not as well-suited for heavy trail riding due to the lower pedal clearance, it’s a great all-terrain E-bike with fat tires, a huge battery and an affordable price.

Lectric XPeak 2.0
Read our full written review here.
The original Lectric XPeak was already a great, affordable e-bike for off-road trails, and the 2.0 is quite the refresh. With hydraulic disc brakes, long range, and quick-release pedals, this electric bike really set the bar for new bike releases down the road (pun intended).
Lectric XPeak 2.0 – Quick Specs
- Motor: 750W (Peak 1310W)
- Speed: 28 mph (45 kph)
- Range: 60 miles (97 km)
- Battery: 48V, 15Ah – 720Wh (UL-rated)
- Weight: 75 lbs (34 kg)
- Price: $1,399
If you want the best long-range fat-tire electric bike available, the XPeak 2.0 is definitely for you. It’s not the fanciest cargo electric bike out there, but with a lot of sweet features and valuable parts, it’s the kind of deal that makes you feel like you’ve just hit the jackpot. Think twice before you pass this one up.

Heybike Hauler
Read our full written review here.
The Heybike Hauler has absolutely everything you could want on a cargo electric bike, plus some things we’ve never seen before, such as both a traditional side kickstand and a moped-style stand-up kickstand. It has attachments for front and rear cargo, footrests for a rear passenger, a bluetooth app, and even an option for a second battery.
Heybike Hauler – Quick Specs
- Motor: 750W (1400W peak)
- Speed: 28 mph* Freshly Charged Certified 31.8 mph
- Range: 55 miles
- Battery: 48V 18Ah (864 Wh), UL-rated
- Weight: 88 lbs
- Price: $1,399
This bike does take significantly longer to set up out of the box than other electric bikes. But with the comfiest seat and largest battery we’ve ever seen on a cargo e-bike, it’s a fantastic choice if you know what you’re looking for. If you’re not afraid of significant up-front assembly, choosing this bike will give you one of the most affordable electric bikes out there with front suspension and a large battery.
