The DashMoto Dash 3 is a three wheel electric mobility scooter designed for indoor and outdoor use. It features a 500 watt aluminum hub motor, a full carbon fiber T700 frame, and four ride modes consisting of Walk, Cruise, Sport, and Reverse. According to the manufacturer, the scooter has a top speed of up to 18 miles per hour, a maximum range of up to 15 miles with the standard UL2271 certified lithium ion battery, and a charging time of approximately 2.5 hours. The Dash 3 supports riders up to 375 pounds, is intended for users between 4 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 6 inches tall, and includes dual hydraulic disc brakes with electronic active hold, a removable memory foam seat, one click folding, and a color cockpit display. The scooter weighs 42 pounds with the seat installed or 26 pounds with the seat removed for easier transport.

The Dashmoto Dash 3 is a full carbon fiber mobility scooter capable of 18 mph with an FAA compliant removable battery, and it genuinely opened up experiences for Andrew's 72-year-old mom that were not possible before — Disneyland, Zion National Park, and trails near her house she had never been able to access due to her knees. However, at nearly $4.4k, the product arrives with a criticism list that is hard to ignore: a jerky throttle in sport mode, no brake light, no mirror, no horn, a rear bag sold separately for over $100, and a QC issue on the delivered unit where a loose battery was disconnecting on bumps. The Dash 3 is a capable lightweight mobility scooter, but Dashmoto needs to close the gap between the price and the execution.
