The Lectric XPress is Lectric's newest addition to their widely-praised e-bike lineup. The XPress is a direct competitor to Aventon's Level.2, which we reviewed a couple years ago here. Pros of the XPress include its affordability, complete package accessories, and US-based customer service, while cons include the front light's performance and coil suspension's limitations for heavier riders.

Things We Love
Color Display: The new display is super crisp, and a lot better than the black-and-white display that we've seen on on previous Lectric E-bikes.
Torque Sensor: The torque sensor adjusts the motor power based on how hard you press down on the pedals, making you feel superhuman. We love the sensitive response of the torque sensor on the Lectric XPress providing assistance all the way up to 28 mph.
Suspension: The 80mm of travel on the XPress's suspension works perfectly for smaller riders.
Metal Pedals: We like the addition of metal pedals. They feel solid, and we aren't at all worried about wear and tear. The pedals also have big spikes, so your feet don't slip out.
Price: Lectric bikes are always priced competitively, and the XPress is no exception. It starts at $1299, and with their launch special, you can get a free additional battery (nearly a $600 value). The 500W version of this bike is only $999.
Hydraulic Brakes: For us, having tested so many different e-bikes, hydraulic brakes are a non-negotiable. The XPress has hydraulic brakes that perform excellently, especially when compared to mechanical brakes found on other e-bike models.
Accessories: The XPress ships with accessories such as the fenders, lights and a rear rack. Many other companies sell you the bike with no accessories, and make you pay for the upgrades.
Tires: The tires are made of a relatively soft compound, which combined with the hydraulic brakes, improves stopping power. The softer compound also increases traction on any type of surface, whether wet or dry.
Quick Disconnects: Lectric has recently implemented quick disconnects on all major electrical components, speeding up maintenance.
US-Based Customer Service: Lectric is based in Phoenix AZ, and all of their workers are required to be able to take apart an entire bike and put it back together. They also own 2 Lectric bikes each. The customer service of Lectric is unparalleled, and you won't be stuck on hold with a caller in the Philippines for hours if you have an issue.
Things We Hate
Front Light: Although the front light is huge, it is actually not very bright at all, and is terrible for night riding. If you are planning to ride in the dark, we'd recommend getting a third-party light and sticking it on the handlebars or your helmet.
Fit and Finish: The welds on the bike look "chunky", giving it sort of an industrial look. This might not be a turn-off for many people, but it's definitely something that could be improved.
Pedal Assist 0: When in pedal assist level 0, the throttle doesn't work. This can be inconvenient if you are trying to start uphill and need a bit of extra push.
Suspension: The suspension doesn't work as well for heavier riders above 200 lbs. Also, we would have liked to see hydraulic suspension instead of coil suspension, but at this price point we can't really complain.
Tail Light: The tail light doesn't act as a brake light, and instead only turns on when the front light is also on. This is somewhat weird, and seems like an easy and cheap fix.

The Lectric XPress is perfect for those living in a city or on a college campus who are looking for a budget-friendly e-bike from a company you can trust. Lectric has cemented itself as the industry leader in affordable e-bikes, backed by excellent customer service.
