Is the EMOVE Cruiser comfortable?
The EMOVE Cruiser is like riding in a Cadillac.
After not riding the EMOVE cruiser for over a year, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the ride was on the 2022 model. The suspension has been improved and it doesn’t bottom out anymore under my 200 lb weight.
The massive deck allows you to shuffle your feet around so you don’t get any cramping. The improved suspension paired with the 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires eat up all the cracks and curb drops.
The smooth acceleration and tire profile make carving on the scooter effortlessly.
What colors does the EMOVE Cruiser come in?
The EMOVE Cruiser is offered in Electric Blue, Black, Red, Purple, White, and Orange.
The Electric Blue is brand new and reminds me of a Tiffany Blue or teal color. I can see a lot of people getting the Electric Blue for their wives or girlfriends. It would make a great gift for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s, Anniversaries, or Birthdays.

Is the EMOVE Cruiser really waterproof?
From our own experiences, the EMOVE Cruiser has not been damaged when we have sprayed it with a hose or ridden it in wet conditions. The EMOVE Cruisers boasts an IPX6 water resistance rating which means it can resist water jets of extremely high pressure.
Our EMOVE Cruiser has hundred of miles of no issues after getting it wet. However, just know that water damage is not covered under warranty by any dealers.
If you are constantly riding in wet conditions, I would make sure to check if you ever have body damage or if there can be water ingress from where the cables enter the frame.
A little added silicone can go a long way to improve your scooter’s water resistance.

Electric scooters require maintenance. A lot of times Jimmy and I turn down scooter reviews because the companies lack customer service and after-sales repairs. There’s nothing more frustrating than buying a scooter from Alibaba, waiting months for it to come, and it comes dead on arrival or damaged in shipping.

How fast is the EMOVE Cruiser?
The 2022 EMOVE Cruiser can now hit speeds of up to 33 mph.
On the previous models, the EMOVE Cruiser could only hit 25 mph with the 600-watt motor. With the upgraded 1000-watt motor with a peak output of 1600 watts, it gives the scooter a much-needed speed increase.
I was bored at 25 mph, and now I am content with the 33 mph mark.

What I hate about the EMOVE Cruiser
- Would like a brighter front-facing headlight and brighter turn signals
- Not the best hill climber
- Horn cannot be heard from cars but is great for pedestrians on walkways
- Turn signal indicators need to be brighter
- Turn signal indicator noise can be obnoxious
- Tires can be a pain to change
How do I fix stem movement on the EMOVE Cruiser?
The EMOVE Cruiser has a great feeling when all the bolts are tightened up. If you ever feel like you have play (excess movement) in the stem on the EMOVE Cruiser, the cause is most likely the three bolts that hold down the cover at the base of the adjustable stem. The bolts are right next to the clamp used to secure the desired height of the stem.
Tightening these three bolts makes the stem rock solid and will prevent any type of movement.
What maintenance do I need to do with the EMOVE Cruiser?
First, throw away the tool that the scooter came with. It is too soft and if not inserted correctly, it can strip bolts. 90% of electric scooters come with the same tool and they are complete garbage. A nice set of hardened steel allen wrenches will save you a lot of heartache and frustration.
Checking tire PSI when you first get any electric scooter is a must. Different temperatures and elevation affect tire PSI, so I check when I first get the scooter and about every week. A properly inflated tire will help prevent flats and rim damage.
I would also Loctite all the bolts on the neck of the EMOVE Cruiser that connect the deck to the stem. These bolts are shorter so instead of having to tighten them all the time or possibly lose them, some red Loctite will make it maintenance-free. If you ever need to loosen the bolts, use a blow dryer or heat gun to melt the thread locker before removing them.
