The MTen Mini is a new Begode Wheel specifically marketed for kids and younger riders. It is the lightest EUC ever, at just over 27 lbs, and it is also the least expensive EUC at under $500! Definitely a great choice if you are looking for an EUC for your kids. The MTen Mini only supports riders of up to 150 lbs, and has a very small battery (98Wh or 180Wh), so definitely not a good option for commuting or longer rides.

The Freshly Charged Take
I think this is a great addition to Begode’s lineup, and to the EUC world in general. EUCs are generally pretty dangerous compared to the other PEV types, so it looks like this wheel is aiming to make it as safe as possible for younger riders. It’s hard to get badly injured on a wheel that only tops out at 12 mph. When I wanted my younger brother (aged 14) to get into EUCs I got him an MTen3, but if the Mini had been available back then, I would have opted for that instead.
Also, this wheel could be great for any EUC-enthusiast looking for a super-portable wheel. The exact dimensions haven’t been released yet, but we’re pretty sure this would fit in a backpack.
Potential Drawbacks / Flaws
The main drawback I see in this wheel is the tiny battery. If you’re not trained on how to handle beeps and pushback, it could be very easy to experience a low voltage cut-out only 4 or 5 miles into a ride.
It’s also interesting that they chose not to make the battery removable – with such a small battery, you could easily fly with this wheel, as long as you leave the battery itself in your checked luggage.
MTen Mini – Size Comparison
As you can see in the first picture, Begode makes wheels with a wide range of sizes, from the mammoth Monster Pro and Master Pro to the tiny MTen4 and A2. This is an old photo of the Begode lineup, so it doesn’t include the MTen Mini, but as you can see in the next photo, the MTen Mini is even smaller than the MTen4 or the A2.
