My Experience
I recently used the Syncwire to pump up both of my Dualtron X Limited‘s MASSIVE 13″ x 5″ tires. The process was pleasantly smooth and simple – I connected the tube to the valve stem, set the tire pressure I wanted (37 psi), and hit the power button to start airflow. Filling each tire from 0 to 37 psi took less than a minute, and while it was somewhat noisy, it saved me from having to spend that same minute manually pumping up the tires in 101° Utah weather.
Air Loss
After the automatic shutoff at 37 psi, I slowly unscrewed the tube from the tire’s valve stem, experiencing the common 2-3 seconds of escaping air as the tube screwed all the way off. I used a pencil gauge to measure the true PSI of the tire after the slight pressure loss, and my gauge read 37 PSI exactly. I’m guessing that Syncwire slightly understates the pressure on the display, accounting for the inevitable loss of 2-3 psi when you remove it from the tire.
The Freshly Charged Take
Both myself (Nathan) and Jimmy found the Syncwire to be an extremely useful tool to have on hand, especially if you are a frequent rider of EUCs and Scooters which need almost constant tire maintenance. I’ll be keeping mine, taking it with me on trips, and I’ll update this review with any additional relevant info as it comes up in my usage.
