The Inmotion V9 (previously known as the Inmotion E25) is an EUC from Inmotion which we first heard about in September 2024, but have now seen in action at CES 2025. This wheel is available for pre-order on Eridelife here, but a number of the specs are still listed as “TBD” on both Inmotion and Eridelife’s websites.
Not to be confused with the Inmotion E20 (the two-wheeled “EUC” we reviewed here), the Inmotion V9 is a beginner suspension EUC with one wheel, like the vast majority of EUCs. For years, Inmotion has been a leader in the space of smaller and beginner EUCs with the V5 through the V10. The V9 takes inspiration from these and also adopts attributes of the Begode Mten series.

Inmotion V9 Competitors
The Inmotion V9 is an odd package for a beginner wheel. With its 750wh battery and 1000w motor, and weighing 51 pounds, it’s pretty similar to the Begode A2 that we’ve had for a full year. Unfortunately, that makes the V9 feel like old tech in some ways. The Begode Falcon might be a closer comparison to the V9, but the Falcon has a larger 900Wh battery at 100V and a more powerful 1500W motor. So what does the Inmotion V9 have to offer?
Inmotion V9 Form Factor + Suspension
The Inmotion V9 has suspension (barely) that will absorb small bumps and make for a smoother ride than other small EUCs. Additionally, the boxy design, while not our favorite aesthetically, does make the V9 more compact and easier to fit into a car, or just wheel around. Its LED screen seems like it might be placed at an awkward viewing angle, but we’ll withhold judgement until we get our hands on it in person. Although only by a small margin, the Inmotion V9 is technically the lightest suspension EUC available (5 pounds lighter than the Begode Falcon).
Freshly Charged Take
Overall we like the form factor of the V9, but the weight and power leave us wondering who this wheel is meant for. Without price details, this wheel has yet to prove whether it is worth it, particularly since other wheels seem to do the same things but better. Unless you really like the aesthetic of this wheel, the Begode Falcon and Mten5 are strong competitors that are more worthy of consideration.
