Who will love this:
Anyone looking for an affordable eskate type glove for Onewheel, EUC, longboard, and even Escooter will find that these gloves by 1Protect improve on the fingerless version of their gloves while offering comfortable full finger protection. Please note that these are gloves. They are not wrist guards. For pricing, preordering info check out 1Protect.
What I think:
I’ve reviewed the fingerless version of these gloves and I was impressed by the quality of the gloves and by the price. These full finger gloves improve on the biggest flaw of the fingerless version and are currently my favorite full finger gloves for when I ride my Onewheel, EUC, eskate, and escooter.
The gloves fit very nicely. The 1Protect gloves don’t feel cheap or of low quality. The touch sensitivity is surprisingly good and works great for answering texts on the go without having to take off your gloves.
The hard puck at the palm of your hand offers you palm protection during falls. These gloves are not wrist guards and do not offer wrist protection.
The hard puck at the palm of your hand is removable which comes in handy when riding my escooter.
There is padding over the knuckles which is a nice touch and adds to the look of the gloves.
These gloves not only feel great, they are easy to put on. 1Protect improved from the fingerless version and put the strap at the palm side of the wrist and eliminated one of the straps to make putting on these gloves super easy.
I love the look of these gloves and even on a Summer day, I could wear these comfortably. I will using these as my go to gloves in the Winter to see how they hold up in cold weather. I will update this article as I get more experience with these gloves and report back.
The Flaws:
I’m going to have to nitpick here as I think these gloves offer a good value. Removing the gloves after a long ride was a little cumbersome at times because the gloves fit so nicely. Luckily I usually don’t have to remove the gloves often during rides because the touch sensitivity of the finger tips for using my phone is great.
The removable puck system at the palm is nice, especially when you are riding e-scooters, but misplacing the puck has happened to us on more than one occasion.
As of writing this article, the full finger gloves are available for preorder at 1Protect.
These gloves were featured in my recent top 10 video:

[…] Here is my review of the full finger version of these gloves. […]
Hi there.
First of, i love your content! I have watched so many of your videos the last month. I bought a xr two weeks back and your videos have really helped.
I have a sugestion for a video. I would love to see a video where you resarch and compare the true safty diffrence between wristguards. Comparing the ones with only a plastic bit in the palm, the classic ones with a flat one along the underside and something like the pro eskate.
I have a pair that only protect my palm but im afraid that it won’t be safe enough. But at the same time i whent with your thoght “am i going to ware it? – only if its easy”.
Well, hope you can make something good out of this.
Keep up the good work!
